The Department of Mechanical Engineering and PII of Medan City held an offline Halal Bi-halal event on Tuesday (10/05) at 10.00 WIB at the DTM FT USU “Machine Cyber” Park. The faculty and department leaders, PII Kota Medan leaders, lecturers, educators, and USU Mechanical Engineering students attended the event. The event was opened by the host, Qeisha (M’20) and continued with welcoming remarks by the Chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Students Association, Jody Ferdinan Pangaribuan. Then, the event was followed by welcoming remarks by the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering as well as the Chairman of the Halal Bi-halal Committee, who is also the Chairman of the PII in Medan, Dr. Ir. M. Sabri, MT, IPM, Asean Eng.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Dr. Ir. M. Sabri, MT, IPM, Asean Eng. hoped this activity could strengthen the ropes of friendship between the academicians at the Faculty of Engineering of USU, especially the Department of Mechanical Engineering of USU. He hoped that the tightness of the friendship rope of the academicians at the Faculty of Engineering of USU, especially the Department of Mechanical Engineering, could synergize to make the IABEE Accreditation process, in which the Department of Mechanical Engineering has been participating, a success.
