The Mechanical Construction Laboratory is one of the Laboratory facilities in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of North Sumatra whose main role is to manage the Design of Integrated Machine Elements I & II (Capstone Design). In addition, this laboratory also facilitates teaching aids in the courses of Design of Machine Elements I, Design of Machine Elements II, and Introduction to Capstone Design. Various prototypes of appropriate technology produced from the Integrated Machine Element Design Task I & II (Capstone Design) are also utilized to be donated to communities in need through community service activities involving students.
