Research Centre for Noise and Vibration Control in Engineering

Dr. Ing. IR. Isranuri Brotherhood

Founder of the research center

The Research Centre for Noise and Vibration Control in Engineering was formed in 2001 by Dr. Ing. IR. Ikhwansyah Isranuri. This research center is located in the Master of Mechanical Engineering Building, University of North Sumatra, second floor. Those involved in this research center are lecturers, S1 students and S2 students. The focus of research conducted at this research center is noise and vibration control and also noise and vibration control supported by a knowledge base system. This is an application analyst used to calculate analysis of noise and vibration which is made by programming itself. Currently, the Research Centre for Noise and Vibration Control in Engineering is conducting research on single-level steam turbine reconditioning , noise studies from HPA (Huzzelenut Pineapple Allumunium Composite) materials for brake pads, and engineering dynamics simulation studies of single-level steam turbine nozzles , directional blades, first row and second row blades.
