Mechanical Engineering Lecturer at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Prof. Dr. Eng Himsar Ambarita ST, MT, is on the list of the 2 Percent Most Influential Scientists in the World by Elsevier BV and Stanford University. Based on data as of 20th October 2021, the list contains 58 Indonesian-affiliated scientists who are included in the list of the single year category. Prof Dr Eng Himsar Ambarita ST, MT, USU Professor from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, occupies the 44th position. Prof. Himsar Ambarita admitted that he was grateful and motivated to do more useful research, especially technology-based research that has contributed to helping people carry out social and economic activities. “I hope in the coming years there will be more USU lecturers who make it to the list and have a significant impact on the development of science and technology,” he stated.
